Looking better

So, things are looking much better today.

IRGC fighting itself.

Supporters of the regime turning on them.

Pakistan admitting they screwed up and gave the wrong draft to both sides? There was some confusion and even Ditzkoff is saying the Iranian proposal was insane. So Tousi is saying.

Regime is now saying they won't negotiate.

Hormuz was open and then closed and then maybe not closed but now closed except possibly open except not and actually I don't have any idea what is going on.

My hope is that this simply gives Trump a way out from bombing the power plants.

My even bigger hope is that this causes a massive internal problem for the regime and they disintegrate. The most effective way to destroy an enemy is to get them to destroy themselves. It is far more effective than doing it from without.

My other hope is that this gives us a way and a reason to send in troops and take some cities in Iran from which to train the local people.

Now with all that said here's where I am going to criticize Trump and his team. They had an absolute disaster controlling the information flow yesterday. Their insistence on keeping the negotiation positions so secret meant that everyone else could say anything they wanted.
