Well, before you bounce out of here... I invite you to read this entire post and then decide.

I think many coaches and online service-based entrepreneurs have been sold a lie.

And it brings me no joy to be the bearer of hard truths but…

❌ Sorry… You're not just one funnel away.

✅ Sure it sounds nice…

✅ build a funnel with all the cool automations…

✅ Run ads, Hire virtual assistants, send automated emails, never actually talk to a real human….

💰 and then make millions of dollars…

Coaching or any other Service based business just doesn't work this way.

Business is, was and always will be a relationship game.

and Russel Brunson, the founder of click funnels (which is the product he sells) is a master marketer and has made an entire industry of coaches, healers and helpers somehow believe that the thing they need most in order to be successful is a funnel.

But you know what’s interesting about that…

Some of the MOST successful coaches and therapists and healers that I know…

don’t even have a website.

Too many self employed professionals are spending WAY too much time trying to become funnel builders and graphic designers doing things outside their zone of genius when there is a major opportunity for them to simply lean into their fears of rejection, their tendencies to avoid intimacy and social anxieties of being with other humans.

Funnels have become a way online entrepreneurs avoid dealing with their internal contents… that if looked at, unpacked, healed and transmuted would allow them to have deeper, more connected and meaningful relationships with all the people in their life… Not just their prospects and clients.

🤔 I wonder if there is a correlation between the best funnel builders and the depth of relationships they have? Curious thought.

back to my main point…

Guess how EVERY great relationship has ever started?

Pretty much by 1 stranger saying hello to another stranger.

Is there a right way and a wrong way to do this?

100% there is.

Sending spammy DM messages selling crypto is not what I am talking about here.

What I am talking about is:

🙌🏼 Being Genuine, thoughtful, sincere, interested in other peoples lives.

🙌🏼 Being generous with your time

🙌🏼 Being able to move through your own resistance & anxieties to connecting with other humans

🙌🏼 Being curious about your own limitations of intimacy

🙌🏼 Being able to face your fear of being disliked, rejected or looking bad.

The best parts about using a cold DM outreach strategy to grow your business in 2022 is:

❤️ You will become a better human as you learn the art and science behind it

❤️ You will make real connections and friendships that can change your life

❤️ You can stop dealing with all the tech stuff that you hate so much

❤️ You can have more fun in your business

❤️ You can make a deeper impact with people faster and bring more meaning to your marketing.

❤️ You can create less content and have more conversations

❤️ Oh … yeah … and you’ll definitely get more clients, faster this way too.

And this is what I want for you.

And sure.. it's definetly not easy...

It does really takes something to deal with your own stuff, to learn the art and science of making friends… But I promise you, that if you committed to doing this deep work and focused your time on connecting with people and saying “Hi” to more strangers your business would flourish and you would make money beyond your wildest dreams.
