I thought I could run free, $100/month, and $1k/month all inside one community.
Romantic idea.
Terrible in practice.
People who upgraded on their own? > Zero.
Sales from running ads to paid offers inside my free community? > Zero.
Feedback from my VIP clients? "It's too noisy. There's 11,500 people in here. I don't even want to post."
So after 16 weeks of building out this model — and growing a new offer to $50k/m — I killed it.
Made 1 pivot… 15 sales from 1 post in 24 hours.
