Building your own coaching business can be a long and lonely road....

I believe that THE secret to success for coaches in 2023 and beyond are those who understand how to start, grow and leverage the power of communities..

And there are 2 types of communities that will grow your business faster than you can imagine:.

1) A community built for your ideal clients and

2) A community built for you.

In this post I want to talk about the latter.

A community you build for you.

10 Years ago I made a significant investment in myself that at the time felt far outside my comfort zone…. financially and relationally.

The investment was to attend a 4 day retreat, in Mexico, for Entrepreneurs who were moving humanity forward and was created by Vishen Lakhiani, the founder of Mind Valley..

It was called AWESOMENESS Fest…

and awesome it was.

This event was outside of my comfort zone relationally because I didn’t KNOW a single person who was going to be there…

I only knew that the people who were going …

were they kinds of people I wanted to be friends with.

I remember feeling so nervous and excited at the same time...

like a kid on his first day of school.

Some of the humans that I met at this retreat have become some of my best friends, and these humans have introduced me to other epic humans who are now friends too … and as such we have community.

A community of like minded, entrepreneurial, spiritually inclined, and successful humans who are doing THE WORK daily and inspire the crap out of me.

I can’t express how valuable and how vital having a community like this is to my own sanity, success and satisfaction in life.

And communities like this don’t just happen by chance….

They are consciously created, they are fiercely protected, and require time and effort and commitment to maintain.. like any relationship.

They also start with 1 person making the intention the create it..

So if you are a self employed health professional who is growing your business and you don’t yet have a mastermind group or a community of like minded humans who will challenge you, and grow you and support you …
