WAGHL– not performing really good 😶

We switched from sending SMS's using the LC phone system to sending whatsapp messages with WAGHL. However, our client is saying that most of the leads are not opening the messages – and it might be because they have Whatsapp but dont use it. We want to send SMS's but its pretty expensive inside of GHL. Do you guys use or recommend any alternative softwares for sending sms?
