Write something
You don’t need to decide everything today…
Something I want to say out loud because I see this pattern constantly. Being stuck between choices is not the same as being stuck in fear. It often means you care enough to want to choose well. If you are deciding between self publishing vs traditional waiting vs moving forward fixing vs finishing You’re not failing. You’re standing at a fork. Here’s today’s simple question 👇 What decision are you circling right now but not making yet and what is the one thing you wish you understood better before choosing? One sentence is enough.

📚 Daily Prompt: From Idea to Impact
One of the biggest myths about writing children’s books is that you need a perfect idea before you start. You don’t. You need a real child, a real moment, and a clear feeling you want them to walk away with. 👉 Today’s exercise (10 minutes max): Think of a child you know (or once were). Answer these three questions: 1️⃣ How old are they? 2️⃣ What is something they struggle with, fear, or are curious about right now? 3️⃣ What lesson or feeling do you wish they had earlier? Drop your answers in the comments. No polishing. No pressure. Just clarity. This is how meaningful kids’ books are born, not from perfection, but from purpose. ✨
You are not behind…
Today I want to normalize something I see all the time. Most children’s book ideas do not fail because they are bad ideas. They stall because the author gets overwhelmed by timing, perfection, or the feeling that they are behind. If you are here and you have: • a half written manuscript • a finished draft you are afraid to show • multiple ideas but no clear next step • a book that missed a holiday window • a story you keep revising instead of finishing You are not doing it wrong. You are just in the middle. So here is today’s simple question. No pressure. No overthinking. 👉 What is the current state of your book right now? One sentence is enough. Messy is allowed. Unfinished is allowed. Honesty is encouraged. I will read every reply.
