Kicker wiffs on game ending onsides kick
I hadn't seen or heard of this before, but stumbled across this video (from 2021). As I discuss in the Classroom, the most crucial part of an onsides kick is simply putting the ball into the right area of the field. Getting so "fancy" with your footwork may be your undoing. In the case of this FSU kicker, you had one job — give your guys a chance.
Then you have to suck it up, take the slings and arrows and bounceback in the next game. That's the job.
