Welcome, Jim!
A shout out to an old friend (and rival) of mine, @Jim Gorecki who just joined KICKING SKOOL! Jim is salesman extraordinaire for Dynamic Fitness & Strength in Eau Claire, WI. He probably sold your school it's weight room equipment! ๐Ÿ˜† Jim was also a kicker back in the OLD DAYS at UW-Stout. He's since helped me out as a camp counselor and fellow kicking mentor to high schoolers. I'm sure that Jim will have some great advice to share!
Welcome, Jim!

Hello Jim!
Snow Kicking
Was lucky enough to get a 40 fg attempt in some brutal weather during the second round of D3 playoffs. Some thoughts I wanted share that helped in this. 1. Changed my plant foot soccer cleat for a football cleat 2. Slowed the operation time down because they will be slower too 3. Focused on good contact getting hips through the posts

Nice job!๐Ÿ‘
New Category: WINS!
I'm always looking to make KICKING SKOOL better... for you! Realized that it wasn't obvious for you to tell your story or simply mention something (anything) that has you excited about kicking and punting. Or do a little bragging on yourself or your kid! This is the category to do it! Post a video, picture, tell us how you feel about achieving a goal, making a big play or winning the game! Just in time for your Fall Season! ๐Ÿˆ ๐Ÿ‚

Packer Scrimmage Last Night
I just happened to catch a few plays from the "game" last night while chowing down on a bacon cheeseburger at Jumbo's in West Bend, WI. ๐Ÿ” I couldn't help but think of my own experience playing in this Family Night game (back in 1985). It's a Packers vs. Packers scrimmage alright, but unlike the one's you've been a part of, this one has over 80,000 people attend. Up to that point, the biggest crowd I'd played in front of was about 10,000. It's a whole different world! ๐Ÿ˜ณ The Packer franchise is unlike any other in pro sports. The small city of Green Bay turns out en masse... for everything! The waiting list for Packer season tickets is up to 30 years now! ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ It also reminded me of one of the best traditions in all of sports when it comes to practice sessions. The fans can watch - and they turn out by the thousands - to PRACTICE at the Hutson Center. The morning practice during the pre-season is especially fun because the kids from Green Bay wait by the locker room door to lend you their bikes (the Hutson Center is across the Lambeau Field parking lot - about a quarter of a mile). ๐Ÿง€ In my day, the message was very clear, if you were a star, you'd get the pick of the bikes and take a Spree scooter. If you were a lesser known vet, you'd get a 10-speed and if you were a back up, you'd get a nice spider bike to ride. In all cases, the kids would carry your helmet and shoulder pads running beside you (and it was a thrill of a lifetime for all of them). ๐Ÿšฒ And then there are kickers and punters โ€” (and rookie kickers and punters) โ€” you get last pick! BUT you still get a bike. Typically the tiniest thing that was almost unridable. You'd go "coaster-style" and be thankful for the wheels. One morning, I met a little guy (maybe 8 or 9) named Kevin in a James Lofton #80 jersey, loan me his bike. While riding alongside a hustling Kevin, I asked him who his favorite Packers were. Slightly out of breath, he stated, "James Lofton, Lynn Dickey... and YOU!" I know he had no idea who #38 was on the Packers, but I was riding his bike to practice โ€” and that made me a star! โญ

@Mike Farley I got Barty Smithโ€™s auto and Larry McCarren came to our football camp way back when. ๐Ÿค
Introduction
Hi everyone, my name is Luka, Iโ€™m from Serbia. Iโ€™ve been playing football for about a year now, originally as a quarterback. But since my main goal is to play college football in the U.S.โ€”whether itโ€™s JUCO, NAIA, or even something biggerโ€”I decided to switch to kicker. I have a strong background in soccer, with nearly 9 years of experience, and I can really hit the ball with power. Excited to learn more and connect with you all!
