Why Every Author Needs a Skool Community
I've been getting back into creating more YouTube content lately, and one topic I want to talk more about is why I think every author should seriously consider building a Skool community.
One of the biggest advantages is how simple it is.
✅ Collect email addresses from members
✅ Send emails when you publish new posts
✅ Host live calls without needing Zoom
✅ Create free and paid membership options
✅ Build relationships with readers and customers in one place
✅ Get started for as little as $9/month on the Hobby plan
For authors, this can become much more than just a community. It can be a place where readers connect with you, ask questions, get behind-the-scenes updates, join book launches, and eventually work with you more closely through courses, coaching, or memberships.
Another thing I like is that Skool is actively promoting communities through its discovery platform, which can help new people find your group organically.
If you haven't started your own community yet, I think it's worth looking into.
I'm curious...
What other benefits do you think authors can gain from having a Skool community?
Drop your thoughts below 👇
I'm collecting ideas for an upcoming YouTube video and would love to hear your perspective.
