⚠️ I am thinking about locking this group down to PAID because I keep seeing the same kind of scam happen over and over again.

People enter the community posing as high profile authors to try to gain your trust and win your business. As you can see 3 different accounts i've had to ban over time from scammers / spammers trying to sneak in and take advantage of this community.

How do they get in? Most of the time when they apply to join they have the HIGH RISK flagged to them and I immediately DENY, but they are getting smarter to the spam and catching on.

They apply under the name of SOMEONE ELSE then once they get in they update their display name to show whatever author they are trying to impersonate.

➡️ Do you think a paywall would be the right solution to avoid this?

⁉️ What do you think would be a fair rate to access the community for new members?

**No changes are happening right now but I've been thinking a lot about this recently to better protect the community and my SANITY. 😆
