With a treasure hiding in it!

I have a successful Whatnot seller account in which I sell vintage fishing tackle. I started using it to liquidate my late father’s horde of a collection. It’s gone beautifully! I had to create a second account PatinaPastPurpose to sell my favorites, costume Jewlery and vintage decor. But I can’t get viewers to save my life. I have a couple of Whatnot friends (VTH, Thrifted) who have consistently popped in. I appreciate them to no end (although they make me nervous…lol) but I can’t get other people to stay for more than 2 seconds. I’ve tried soooo many things. Memes, consistent thumbnails, tags, titles, items in my shop, different times of day and night, Whatnot promotes (don’t get me started on that). You name it. I can’t get more than 4 people in a show for more than 60 seconds, and frankly that has only happened twice! I have set up and ran 30 shows this summer and my highest show was $162. It was one woman snapping up $2 brooches for an hour. Had great conversations with her, (as much as you can w/chat) she was a lovely lady, and I appreciate her immensely, but I just can’t keep doing the look on the bright side BS anymore. I’m irritated. I sell successfully other places, (ebay, Etsy) but I love Whatnot’s format: When it works… So, rant out of my system now, I have decided to take a Whatnot sabbatical. At least on the stuff I love, gonna keep on keeping on with the fishing stuff. No more selling on PPP until I feel like I can take the abuse again. What does this mean to you lovely people? I tried to get this beautiful piece authenticated through legitgrails site and this is the response I got back. I have searched and searched and only coming up with it could have been a runway piece. Any help confirming would be amazing.

Did the research and don’t see any markings on this beautiful set. Looks to be an unsigned midnight magic set by Sarah Coventry . Do you agree ?? Thanks for the help

Ammonia, regular old cleanimg Ammonia on a q tip. Household stuff. It is the common base ingredient in simichrome, 409 etc. The chemical reactions yield the nicotine yellow we are used to seeing with the polish. It is what's reactive in the polish when applied to phenolic compound. Bakelite is a brand name of phenolic resin. Bakelite as a company the og company focused on more industrial uses. Radios Gaskets Parts MachiningStuff etc Catalin, marbelette and others formulated the jewelry tones and special finishes of phenolic resin. There's a seller on Etsy that sells bakelite testing pads. These are genius. They are cosmetic pads soaked in super secret ..Ammonia allowed to dry and become portable for on the run testing. Follow me for more cool tricks.
