Proyecto Ánkyra from Argentina: In Argentina, a teenager dies by suicide every 20 hours, while millions worldwide also face loneliness, anxiety, depression, and loss of purpose. "Contribuir" is not just a name but a living verb—an interschool incubation program of human vocation and community leadership where inner development becomes a path to inspire, empower, and humanize young people so they can flourish together and regenerate the ecosystems they are part of.
Taiwan Kaohsiung IDG Hub for SDGs: Integrating IDG and SDG for an I.D.E.A.L. and sustainable planet from a higher education institute. Chia Wang, an aerosol scientist came to comprehend that everything is connected from the molecular level, and each of us belongs to a part of the Oneness. This complexity awareness, and appreciation of the close connectedness inspired the integration of the IDGs with the SDGs, aiming to bridge polarities, break boundaries, and re-establish an I.D.E.A.L. (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Appreciation, Love) and sustainable planet for the benefits of ALL!
Boston IDG Hub: How Inner Development is Defending and Renewing American Democracy. The New Politics Academy recruits servant leaders–military vets and alumni of civilian service programs including Americorps and PeaceCorps-to run for elected office. Their approach is grounded in inner development, and it is shaping the resistance to authoritarianism in America.
It was VERY challenging for us* to choose three projects among the 40 projects and it has been incredibly inspiring to see all the amazing work that is being done around the world.
