There is a sweetness woven into Litha that cannot be understood by the mind. It lives in skin warmed by the sun, in bare feet touching the earth, in the fragrance of flowers opening beneath the longest day of the year. This is the season when life does not hide. Roses unfold without hesitation. Fields sway in a slow, sensual rhythm. The very air feels fuller, richer, as if everything alive is breathing its essence into the world. Litha reminds us that we are part of the body of nature. Not separate from her abundance, but born from the same stream of life that ripens fruit, opens blossoms, and carries nectar through flowers. The sensuality of this season is not merely physical; it is the sacred pleasure of being fully alive. It is feeling the warmth of the sun upon your skin and realizing that this is a caress from life itself. It is tasting a ripe strawberry and recognizing the generosity of the Earth. It is listening to the hum of bees and hearing within it the gentle song of creation. Nothing needs to be achieved. Nothing needs to be proven. There is only experience. The light lingers longer upon the landscape, as though it does not yet wish to leave. It strokes the leaves, kisses the surface of the water, and wraps the evening in a golden glow. Within that tenderness, something ancient awakens within us. A remembrance that joy is sacred. That beauty is a form of wisdom. That delight is not a distraction from the spiritual path, but an essential part of it. The old stories spoke of sacred unions during this time of year. Not only between lovers, but between heaven and earth, between soul and body, between the visible and the invisible. The sun embraces the Earth, and the Earth responds with an explosion of life. Everything is connected. Everything touches everything else. The flowers touch the bees. The wind touches the grain. The sea touches the shore. The light touches our skin. And somewhere within that endless dance, we remember that we too are meant to be touched by life.

Let me tell you a story, just a couple of years ago the thought of getting rejected and getting turned down, whether that was for a job interview, for a relationship, for getting clients, or even just working and not getting accepted with someone that would help you with your goals and getting rejected that way, terrified me. It held me back and in this post I just want to explain how you can simply face rejection and learn to and how this is beneficial even for something that seems off topic like mental health. The first thing is repetition. Now I think the biggest thing with learning to face rejection and learning to accept it is just doing a lot of repetitions: whether, that be a lot of job interviews, a lot of sales calls, a lot of approaches or whatever. The more you do, you will just, by nature you'll get rejected, of course. The key is to keep going because I've seen some people that do some of those things but after they get rejected about ten times they just quit altogether, like, "Oh it doesn't work for me." That's a horrible mindset to have and that will really hold you back. The key is just to keep repeating it even when you don't feel like it's working and that will really help you to learn to face rejection and learn because you will get more no's than yeses, of course you will. But of course do not do the same thing over and over again if it has not worked at all, in that case then refine your process. Just think of it this way though: every no you get is getting you closer to a yes and that's very true. Once you stick at it and you get some yeses, you will learn that it's so silly to just quit before you get to this point. The second way you can do this is by detaching from the outcome. Whatever outcome you're trying to get, whether it be, I don't know, working with some mental health coach or whatever, and it's like a really premium service and you kind of have to persuade yourself to get into it. If you just detach from the outcome whether you pass the test or not, then that will really help you.
