Let me tell you a story back a while back, because of the limiting beliefs that I saw on movies, TV shows, the news, and social media, I believed that it was selfish to pursue happiness.
I was told that it's so selfish to pick yourself first and that you should just sacrifice your own wants, your own happiness and goals for others.
I just want to say if you're into that then read on because genuinely this is such a common belief that is sadly brought up today.
I just want to say it's not selfish to pursue happiness.
Why?
I remember watching the course "Science of Well-Being" by Laurie Santos, and she mentioned that people who are happier are more kind, they're more giving, and they have a positive impact on the world.
Just keep this in mind because a lot of people will say, "Oh you're selfish if you're taking this time to
yourself," but it's really complete BS.
I just want to say thanks for reading and I hope it was valuable.
