Do you struggle to accept the past?
Do you find it hard to move on?
If so, you are not alone.
And you know you want to move on and accept it but it is too hard?
Well in this simple full guide I want to share the solution that worked for me.
- Understand why they did it, If you can understand why your trauma happend to you, and why the people did it, you will have a much better mindset, like imagine you got bullied at school, that was the trauma, if you understood that the bullies did it because they were bullied themselves, that helps, and as for family trauma, maybe you could see it as your families weird way of giving love.
- Gratitude, if you write down just one thing you are grateful for about your trauma, you will get into a much better mindset.
- Acceptance / stoicism, if you think about your trauma almost like a “stoic,” like for example accepting what you cannot change, and knowing you cannot change the past, that can make all the difference.
- Seeing as your “hero” story, if you think of it all the heroes we love like Batman for example, they all had extremely difficult back stories, right? All full of trauma, this is what you can do with your own trauma’s, if they were the reason you got into self improving for example, then in a way it is your hero story.
- Learning lessons, if you write down at least one learning lesson you learned from your trauma, that gives you at least something to be grateful for about it.
Thank you for reading, hope it was valuable.
