How I Fixed Feeling Miserable Despite “Success”
Back whenever I was 15 years old, I got up to a pretty good milestone of "success."
You see I was doing this business on eBay where I would sell things and one month I actually made over £1,000 and it was awesome.
It was brilliant and then I could buy things I wanted and I felt really good about myself but that feeling of "success" didn't last for long.
Quickly I got sick of it.
I got tired.
I thought all this money online would make me happy.
This was my goal for so long, right, but I was still miserable.
Why was that?
It was because of unhealed trauma, a dysregulated nervous system, and survival mode.
You see I was just chasing more and more money in the fastest way I could do past what I was doing and I wasn't caring about the purpose of my work, of my business.
I was just choosing the thing that made money ASAP.
I was not caring about the purpose of helping my customers with their pains and serving them well, I was not integrating my true purpose in my work life and monetizing that.
I was instead choosing instant gratification and because of this I undeniably felt unhappy and didn't feel good about myself.
That all changed whenever I got into trauma healing because I was chasing this validation because I was bullied severely at this time, which is why I choose the purposeless business model.
I thought all this would make me feel better if I can achieve this goal, even in a way that I hate but that was so foolish.
The only change was whenever I did this practise of trauma healing, where I brought up the unprocessed emotion and felt that unprocessed emotion.
Then doing that on repeat day after day for my traumas.
This is something I learned.
