Knowing CPA and Your Numbers
Hi All,
On the topic of knowing our numbers, I wanted to share some learning for my coaching business. I was hacked on FB and LinkedIn (shut out), and also Google. So my diversifying lead strategy and Dan's advice to always know you can get free leads helps. I have let that sink in. I also have had an issue of time, so I have chosen to pay for my leads.
So... drum roll, here is what I uncovered from the last year and a half:
Paid Strategy Cost Per Acquisition (CPA):
  • Thumbtack: $896
  • Thervo: $132
  • Google: $228 (only 6 months before kicked off)
  • Bark: $1,206
  • Facebook (re-launch today, yay!)
  • Psychology Today: $36
Free Leads (referral/return clients): 64
Total closed in 1 year and 1/4: 110 clients
Average CPA with all the free leads and expensive leads was $40!
So, this all rocks if I can optimize Google and use some paid strategy on FB and Instagram. Please ask questions. I also asked Chat GPT to ask questions, so we will see who is paying attention and relating to their own numbers and investment.
