Job Costing
I can't tell you the amount of people I speak to who complete a job and have no idea if it was profitable or if they lost money.
Did you accurately markup materials or did you lose money on materials?
Did you have accurate labor costs in comparison to what you charged for labor or is the % off?
You can't scale your business if you don't know where the money is going.
I promise you, scaling without having a basic understanding of every single job will put you out of business very quickly.
