New here - mine worker building my first service

Quick background: I drive dump trucks at a mine in Western Australia, and I'm setting out to build a reactivation + automation service for local tradies. Right now I'm a total beginner just finding my feet.

To get hands-on, I'm planning a practice build on dummy data this weekend before I go anywhere near a real client. For anyone who remembers starting from scratch - what's the one thing you wish you'd known before your first practice build? Setup, copy, timing, compliance, anything that tripped you up?
