For the past three years I have known I needed to get out of the classroom for my mental health. This has consistently triggered my husband's anxiety to the point all he sees are the risks and negatives. This has turned into the laundry list of all the business failures of my past. He is excellent with money; not great with encouragement.
Today though, when I explained (very clumsily) what I am learning, am committed to learning ONE thing (DR) inside and out until I succeed, and have a clear plan of action.... for the very first time, he admitted that his way is old-fashioned and he doesn't really understand it but that he sees that I do and he is going to trust my judgement and support me through the journey. It may not be a big win, but in my world, it is HUGE.
