Hi team,
I'm currently based in Singapore where there's tons of restrictions and online safety procedures that flag my trigger links as "suspicious links" or "unverified domains". People here are smart to avoid strange links and sites even if it's from a verified account.
I saw that there's a way to mask the trigger link with Brand System-Generated Links (API Domain) so that it increases deliverability and brand recognition when sending out links.
I just need to go to the domain registrar (GoDaddy) and create a CNAME record in DNS settings. Despite having done this for at least 5 clients, this process still scares the shit out of me because anything will go wrong (it messed up 2 of my client's websites before and I had to call my developer friend to come in and fix it)
Question:
- Does this override or interfere with my client's current web provider and force them to use GHL websites? My client invested a huge amount in creating their website, they have great SEO and backlinks and I don't want to touch this.
- Will I need to setup a sub-domain to get this to work?
