Leading with Generosity
You ever notice how the best leaders don’t have to push people? They pull them in—with trust, connection, and genuine care. I’ve been reminded lately that leading isn’t about titles or control. It’s about creating space for others to shine. When we show up asking “How can I help?” instead of “What’s in it for me?”, everything changes—for our teams, our clients, and ourselves. I’m curious… what’s one way you’ve led with generosity recently, and what impact did it have on those around you?

Walk in your value
Many people spend time trying to prove their value. You see it in business. You see it in networking events. You see it in conversations. People talk about accomplishments. They list credentials. They try to stand out. There is another approach. Walk in your value. When you know the value you bring, the conversation changes. You listen more. You focus on the other person. You look for ways to help. You connect people. You share ideas. People feel the difference. Opportunities grow from trust, not promotion. The Go-Giver approach focuses on contribution first. Recognition follows over time. Take a moment for reflection today. Think about one recent interaction. Did you focus on proving your value, or did you focus on serving the other person? Your turn. What is one small way you plan to practice the Go-Giver approach in your next conversation or meeting?

Walk in your value
Honesty is not a self-dying virtue. It’s one of the greatest assets.
From Bob Burg: "Honesty is not a self-denying virtue. It's one of the greatest assets a salesperson can have.” ~Harry Browne While dishonesty certainly can result in a sale, it cannot lead to a sustainably profitable career, one in which your current customers and clients are also your greatest advocates. The sales professional with a reputation for honesty in his or her dealings not only enjoys what they do a whole lot more (and feels good about themselves as a human being)…they also find that they have developed an army of "personal walking ambassadors.” Your thoughts? Feel welcome to share in the Comment section
