👋 Welcome to the J4K Goalkeeper Community!
Hi Keepers and Parents, As you probably know, goalkeeping is a VERY LONELY position for both keepers and parents. This is why J4K created this community - So PLEASE take advantage as there is NOTHING like this on the planet! Please take a few minutes to do the below. 1️⃣ Introduce Yourself - Tell us your name and what country you’re from. - Share ONE thing you’d love to get out of this community (training tips, glove advice, scholarship info, etc.). IMPORTANT: Because there are children in this community, we’re committed to keeping it safe and supportive for every goalkeeper and parent. This is a community that looks out for each other — if someone tries to spam, troll, bully, or sell directly or indirectly, they’re usually reported quickly. J4K has ZERO tolerance for any of this, and accounts that break these rules will be banned, helping keep the community safe for all. JUST4PARENTS - ADVICE SECTION
Guys, I have been thinking… There are a lot of goalkeeper parents in this community, so I have decided to create a new section called Just4Parents. Over the years, I have laughed and cried with thousands of goalkeeper parents, so I truly understand how hard it can be to help your child on their goalkeeping journey. And please do not ever feel embarrassed by that. Goalkeeping is a very specialist position. Unless you have actually played in goal yourself, it can be very hard to fully understand what your child is going through, what they need, and the best way to support them. That is exactly why I have created this section. Once a week, I will post tips, advice, and support to help you better understand your goalkeeper child and help them move closer to their dreams. This will also be a place where parents can share their own experiences, support each other, and realise they are not alone. So if you are a parent of a goalkeeper and you need help, please post your questions in this section. We are here to help you. You do not have to go through this goalkeeper journey alone anymore. PS: Here are the most asked questions from parents over the years - I have answered via visa - https://j4ksports.com/pages/free-advice-for-parents

Mum is back in hospital
So unfortunately my mum has been taken back into hospital with suspected pancreatitis. This was a possible risk from her procedure last week. Once again she is in lots of pain but is in the right place
Advice Needed Please 🙏🏻🧤
My lad Max is currently playing up a year on a Sunday, he's up against some players that are double the size of him, stronger than him, quicker than him and a lot more physical but he still gives his all week in week out and feels like he's overlooked and unappreciated. The coaches definitely have their favourites and it shows massively! Max had an accident a few weeks ago which slightly dented his confidence and has been working so hard to get back to the old him, but now he is making a few mistakes (alongside the outfield players) and getting up during games e.g. spilling the ball or not catching it right resulting in one team mate has told him he should do better. Today both of those situations happened, but felt his defence didn't support, he made some very good saves, some extremely brave 1v1s involving another boot to the face. He hasn't had managers player since November last year and feels he isn't appreciated or valued. He left football today sobbing his eyes out saying he doesn't care anymore and doesn't want to be a goalkeeper anymore, he's such a talented little boy and obviously don't want this to be the case. Any advice what I can do? Is it the right team for him or should I consider moving him? Thanks
2 games to go
So we have 2 games left to decide the league position. Realistically we can get third. The team above us only have one game left and the are playing a team pushing for the league title. If they draw or lose then we need to win both our matches to secure third. If they win their game then we can finish 4th. Looking forward to the run in.
