Tough To Take
Today Preston had a High Level Tournament. After the Group games they found themselves Top of the Group, scoring 10 goals and not conceding.
We then played Heanor Town in the Quarters and although it was a tough game, we again Won 2:0.
Onto the Semi Finals. Preston had 2 Catch's and 2 Goal Kicks to deal with the team were unlucky not to score. The game ended all square and the dreaded Penalties were needed to separate the two team.
Sadly on this occasion we lost 4:3.
It is the first time we have gone out of a tournament without actually conceding a goal in open play.
We live and learn and go again next week.
