Sever's Disease - Heel Pain

Hi guys!

Sorry not been too active this week as been away. Thanks for all the advice on my last post regarding resilience. I'm here again to tap the top GK minds for more though I'm afraid! 😂

Lewis has been diagnosed with Sever's disease which is heel pain related to growth spurts. He's been recommended some stretches to do to help along with ibuprofen and ice for pain management.

My online research has also suggested that heel cups or gel insoles may be beneficial.

Does anyone else's GK child suffer with this and do you have any recommendations for insoles which may help or any other tips that you found helped?

I do wonder if GKs may suffer from this more by generally them being the taller of the bunch of kids. I know when Lewis grows he easily shoots up 2-3cm in a super short time.

Anyway if anyone has any experience with this any advice would be super welcome. ☺️
