Meeting your hero

Oscar has quite a serious medical condition & had major surgery in June. This meant 3 mths of no sport at all & he is still recovering. He was nominated for a Christmas experience through Alder Hey Hospital with Everton. So we spent this afternoon with the whole Everton team & he chatted with his hero, Jordan Pickford. Jordan gave Oscar loads of tips on being mentally strong & working hard every day. Pickford is a goalie parent too as his 6 yr old is a goalie for City so we chatted about parent anxiety. He was brilliant & made Oscar’s Christmas 💙
