🧤 From Improvised Goalkeeper to Real Goalkeeper: My Learning Journey

Hey, everyone! 😎

I want to share a bit of my story and why I joined this community.

When I was younger, the guys always called me to be the team’s goalkeeper.

The funny thing is, I had never trained as a goalkeeper — I didn’t know anything about technique, positioning, or game reading — I just went to the goal with determination and courage. 💪

Sometimes I made incredible saves… other times I let in some “howlers” 😂

I was the “bad” goalkeeper who wasn’t really bad — no technique, but full of grit.

And even so, there was always a competition to see who would get me in goal.

Over time, I realized I’ve always been driven by one thing: the desire to learn new skills.

And it was in this pursuit that I found this goalkeeper community — an amazing space where you can learn from scratch, share experiences, understand goalkeeping techniques, and truly improve. ⚽🔥

Today, my focus is on developing this skill with a winning mindset, discipline, and consistency.

Not to prove anything to anyone, but for myself — because when I want to learn, I give my best until I master what I do.

I’m grateful to be here with all of you, learning, growing, and evolving as a goalkeeper every day. 🙌
