There are a few things that Keepers have to deal with that can be upsetting for them but collectively how do Parents and Coach's deal with it. @Ray Newland any chance of discussing it in a little video sometime. How do you motivate or talk to a keeper when they have done everything possible but the outcome isn't good. 1. A Striker misses 4 or 5 shots but scores one and he is a hero - The keeper makes 4 or 5 great saves but misses one and everyone remembers the one they missed 2. The Keeper makes three or four big saves in the final minutes of a game. The Strikers miss several easy chances but scores a tap in with seconds left and the Team win's 1:0. Everyone praises the Striker and forgets the keeper. 3. A Keeper touch's the ball 3 times in a game but the team lose 1:0 to a worldy or a shot they couldn't stop. The keeper feels low because in reality he had nothing to do in the game. 4. The team fail to qualify at a tournament but the keeper has played well over all and there was nothing the keeper could do to help them qualify.
