Being vocal

After watching my son yesterday a recurring post match topic came up, something which I had asked him to work on for yesterday’s game and a lot last season. His communication, towards the end of least season he was doing really well. Yesterday i don’t think I heard him. Watching both keepers yesterday and they were opposite of each other, other keepers technical skills were in short supply yet he was very vocal and commanding, yet my son was opposite. I know it will eventually happen however I have tried many times to broach this topic with him even last night we had a little chat about it. He puts in so much hard work and effort into his goalkeeping yet this I feel sometimes holds him back. Help, advice would be very much appreciated 👍
