I wanted to report back on my experience traveling with my peptides on Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas, sailing out of Galveston, Texas.
I purchased an insulated insulin travel case from Amazon and put all of my peptide vials in it, along with a few syringes. I packed the rest of my syringes in my toiletry bag, which I checked at the port.
I put the insulated peptide case inside my overnight backpack, along with my valuables like jewelry and cash. I was a little nervous about going through security with everything, but honestly, it was completely uneventful!
The only reason security stopped me was because I was wearing a weighted vest 😂. They had me go back through the security line, but nobody questioned or even mentioned the peptides.
Once onboard, Royal Caribbean provided a small cooler for storing my peptides, along with a sharps disposal container for the used syringes. The smaller cooler was an automotive soft drink cooler with bonus charging ports! if I was to do this again, I would add ice inside to raise the temperature.
Throughout the entire trip, I was never stopped, questioned, or asked anything about my vials.
So that was my experience cruising with peptides. I know everyone’s situation can be different, and policies can change, but I wanted to share what happened on my particular cruise in case it helps someone else who is wondering how to travel with theirs.
And apparently…the weighted vest was more suspicious than the peptides. 😂😂
Happy sailing!
