Simple Breakfasts
Yoghurt, protein powder, any cereal and berries have been the go to breakfast for me for the past 8-10 weeks. As boring as it might sound, it massively helps me because I don't have to think about anything. Once the kids are sorted, I put this together in 2 minutes. I'm not saying have the same thing as me, find something you enjoy eating and it's nutritious and have it on most days. Trust me, it's life saving.

Leftover Legends - Bolognuka (or Shakshunese)
My boys love a ragu like a Bolognese sauce (recipe soon), but there's always leftover. The other day it got me thinking. Aside from the minced beef and herbs, it's similar to how you would make a Shakshuka! I ended up cracking some eggs and poaching them in the Bolognese sauce. Ridiculously high in protein, fairly high in calories (was around 6-700), but it was incredible. 1.) Warm up leftover sauce with some extra water 2.) Crack eggs into the pot 3.) Cover and cook until the eggs are poached 4.) Serve and enjoy!

I'll write here some of my own recipes or ones I have found. Most recipes here will be 'healthy' so high in protein and fibre and non of the ultra-processed stuff and stuff you can make for the whole family. It's also a place to discuss questions about nutrition in general.
