Hi guys, quick question
Let's imagine that my focus is only on building strength and endurance (no plyos/sprinting/olympic weightlifting), all the sessions are separated by 8-10h to minimize interferences.
Do you have some experience on gaining strength (especially upper body strength) while being on a quite high volume of endurance training (10h/week)?
I have the impression that most of the "hybrid athletes" are just former lifters that started running/cycling way later when they were already strong
Past the beginner phase, is it realistic to improve both strength and endurance significantly at the same time? I'd say that it shouldn't be a problem for endurance but strength looks harder
Would the solution be to cycle during the year to put more emphasis on endurance or strength at some point?
