June Container Gardening Series – Day 3 Fast-Growing Crops You Can Still Start in June

One of the most common questions gardeners ask in June is:

Many loose-leaf lettuce varieties mature in as little as 30–45 days. While summer heat can make lettuce bolt more quickly, container gardeners have an advantage. Move your pots to a location that receives morning sun and afternoon shade to extend your harvest.

𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬

If you're looking for quick results, radishes are hard to beat. Many varieties are ready in just 25–35 days. They don't require deep containers and are a fun crop for gardeners who enjoy seeing fast progress.
