Goals as secrets?
We are about to do our session zero goal creation tomorrow. I did tell them that we would be creating them together at the table on our session -1.
Now one of the players has written to me and says he wants his to be secret from the other players. Its a fairly straight forward goal, he wants to infiltrate to thieves guild, because they are copying an illegal substance that his family is the original creator of. I’m thinking he has to state a goal that he wants to infiltrate them to figure out where the substance is coming from, but he doesn’t have to mention his family.
I just wanted an opinion on this, is that a fair way to handle it? And also stories from your own table if you’ve had something similar come up?
