FD 258 Vs. FD 1164
The FD 258 is an FBI form that’s used to collect fingerprints for background check purposes.Many states and agencies use this form to collect their own prints for background check purposes as well.
The FD 1164 is the same type of from but it’s specific use case is for non US citizens to obtain their FBI background check through processing
their fingerprints and cross referencing those prints through their criminal database.
Both are similar but there’s different use cases for each.
