Looking back, buying a house is a total rollercoaster—it's not just about the money, it's about the drama!🤯

My husband and I spent so much time hunting for a home. We toured over 20 properties, and honestly, it was fun but exhausting. We finally found a place we loved and were confident in our offer, but right at the finish line, we didn't get it. Here's the tea: we lost to an all-cash buyer. In this market, cash is king, and we just couldn't compete with that.🥲

Just as we were recovering from that blow, the market threw us a curveball: news broke that mortgage rates were about to spike. It put so much pressure on our budget that we almost gave up.But then came the twist, our realtor called to say a seller had chosen our offer out of five bidders! 😀

Now for the juicy part: the seller chose us for more than just the price. The seller's agent told her we were a 'lovely couple,' and her biggest wish was to pass her house to someone who would cherish it. The cherry on top was closing the deal just before the rates went up. 🥳
