What kind of workshop do you think I should do?

I am taking on a project where I am going to do the design and develop of an app for a startup. After having many conversations with the team I'm starting to feel like they need alignment on the MVP of their product.They have conflicting ideas on how the product should work and some of the features need to be fleshed out. Which would you recommend? Not sure about if the design sprint is the right option or the 4C framework or something else. I think I can only get 1 day with them.
