Unreal Basics: Pawn
In the world of Unreal Engine, equality is a myth. 🎭 You have Actors, who get to just "exist" in the scene, vibing and looking pretty. And then you have Pawns, the ones we "possess" and turn into our personal digital slaves. If you've ever felt like your game development lacked a certain... ethical dilemma, here’s your chance to feel it. Why settle for simple programming when you can strip a 3D object of its autonomy. Test the limits of digital freedom with the new lesson, by putting into the level your first Pawn.

Unreal Basics: Texture Swap
Welcome to the new Unreal tutorial "I Could’ve Just Made Two Meshes instead of Texture Swap" Forget high-octane boss fights or complex branching narratives. The real way to add "thrill and suspense" to your game is by making a door turn red when it opens. Experience by yourself the sheer power of a Dynamic Material Instance.

Unreal Basics: Custom Events
In Unreal, Custom Events are useful to contain a piece of the network, with all the bunch of nodes and connections that otherwise would fill the Event Graph space. They’re not functions, nor macros. They’re special. Think of them as the "junk drawer": if you don't have enough space to place that 50-node sequence, just wrap it in a Custom Event, name it "DoTheMagic", and tell yourself you’re "refactoring." It’s not a mess if it’s tucked away in a corner, right?

Unreal basics: Sequence node
🚪In Unreal, the Sequence node lets you multiply a single execution signal and fire it off into multiple branches of your node network. We could use it for complex logic chains but... why not just for opening a door ?

Unreal basics: frames and seconds.
🌀 Ever feel like time is slipping through your fingers? Don't worry, Unreal Engine feels it too—at every. single. frame. The "logic" is simple: the stronger the PC, the faster time flies. So you could experience teleportation or, on the other side, an extracorporeal transfer inside a snail. But if you actually want your game to run at the same speed for everyone, you might want to learn how to master Delta Time.
