Not sure if y’all can help!
So I’m 39 been in perimenopause for 6 years. Doctor started me on Testosterone pellets 6 years ago. They worked great it should also be noted I have Hashimotos. For years I felt normal. This past year I have felt miserable anxiety through the roof. Doctor said it must be my antidepressants so she switched my meds but still miserable. I finally talked her into doing my labs. She was doing them once a year. I got labs. She said they were normal but I could probably use estrogen. Mind you my testosterone was at 343 and estrogen was at 50 and progesterone was at .2 she still said everything was good. I have not been good anxiety all year can’t drive, be in social situations and just overall restless also these weeks where I was so depressed. I got sick and had to go to a different doctor and told her everything. She said my labs were not good. My testosterone was too high. So she did bloodwork again mind you my other doctor placed testosterone and estrogen pellets a few weeks after my labs showed high testosterone. New doctor got bloodwork done and back and testosterone was at 373 and free t was at 72. My RBC count was very high. She has since put me on Dim and done therapeutic phlebotomy. She said I have to let my pellets dissolve. It’s just really hard because I still feel anxious and tired and all these feelings. Has anyone else experienced this and could give support or just reassurance that I’m gonna get better? It gets hard to have hope and trust in the process when I feel like I was trusting for so long and I messed up doing that. Sorry so long!
