Who here is taking Saw Palmetto, L-theanine and/or L-Glutamine? I want to know if anyone has experienced side effects when starting them, what effects and how long they lasted. I have a sensitive stomach and I’m leery to try. Thanks

Hi Everyone It’s great to be part of this group. A little about me, I’m 53 & very much in perimenopause. Things started out ok with mild symptoms that I could mange, then it all changed…….became something I couldn’t anymore. I have gone to see a hormone doctor who has helped me manage most of my symptoms but I still struggle with some, like the joint pain, not sleeping, tiredness & depression. So many of my symptoms I never knew were perimenopause symptoms, so this has really been a learning curve for me.

I’m scheduled to talk with my GP to ask her for hormone testing to see where my levels are at this point that it seems peri symptoms have kicked in at a fuller force than ever before. What are some things I should bring up/ask? I have started a list of symptoms to make her aware of and keep track of for my own info.

Hi I'm 57. Been in menopause for coming g up to 4yrs now. Been a little rough getting started. Got sent to a gyno who later got her Dr certificate taken away cos she used dirty instruments for procedures in her clinic exposing me and over 2000 patients to Hep C. Lucky for me tested negative. Now a wait list is 2yrs in my area to get a new Dr. So thanks to the internet I found this group. So far its been freaking amazing. Thanks to Elevates suggestions I'm now sleeping and having a better life than I was at the beginning of 2025.. 2026 is looking better every day. I look forward to learning more and more about this topic and others...
