🚀 CalSync 1.4.3 is Available Now!

This update introduces one of our most requested features, a completely redesigned template gallery, and several improvements that make managing planners easier than ever.

📅 Upload Calendar (.ICS) Files

You can now import calendars directly from an .ICS file stored on your computer.

Simply click Upload ICS from Settings or Edit Planner, then drag and drop your file or browse to select it.

Your imported calendar behaves just like any other calendar feed:

• Choose a custom name

• Assign its own color

• Use it in any planner

• Perfect for calendars that aren’t publicly hosted

🖼️ All-New Template Gallery

Finding summary page templates is now much easier.

The new gallery includes:

• Categories on the left for quick browsing

• Search to find templates instantly

• Large previews before adding a page

• Favorite templates by starring them

• A dedicated Favorites category for quick access

• Template thumbnails now show which CalSync plan includes them

📄 Planner Files With Real Names

Your planner PDFs are now named after your planner instead of a long internal code.

For example:

Work Planner.pdf

instead of

4d8f9c71-2b…pdf

This makes Universal Mode much easier to use and organize.

We’ve also updated the Open Folder button so it opens directly to your planner file.

✨ Better Event Titles

Fixed a rare issue where event titles could sometimes display as only “…”

Event titles now correctly use all of the available space on Day and Week views.

💾 Better Summary Page Editing

Editing summary pages is now much smoother.

Previewing templates no longer closes the editor, so your:

• Page name

• Category

• Selected template

are all preserved while you browse.

🔒 Safer Planner Storage

CalSync now stores planner files outside of iCloud and OneDrive synced folders by default.

This helps prevent synchronization conflicts that could occasionally interfere with pushing planners to your device.

If a cached planner ever goes missing, CalSync now automatically recovers it.
