🚀 CalSync 1.7.0 is Here
Your pen can now complete tasks. Big one today. This is the release I've been teasing. Task Markup Connect Todoist and your tasks print right on your planner's Top Three and Tasks lists (Clarity day style). Check a task with your pen and CalSync completes it in Todoist on the next sync, prints the check, and strikes the title so the page agrees with your marks. Draw an X to dismiss a task on the planner without touching it in Todoist. A dash moves its due date forward a day. Your handwriting is read exactly where it sits on the page, and a mark is never acted on twice. Pen reading works today on planners connected through reMarkable Cloud, with more connections on the way. Tasks land on the right day A task with a due date prints on that day's page. An overdue task moves to today and shows struck through on the day it left. A finished task prints checked on the day you completed it, in your planner's own time zone. Past pages keep their record, so yesterday's page still shows what happened yesterday. Also in 1.7.0 • Todo Lists joins Settings: sign in to Todoist once, then map each project to the planner list where it belongs. Microsoft To Do, Google Tasks and Apple Reminders are next in line. • Task sync that survives a bad connection: if your task service is briefly unreachable, planners keep printing the last known tasks instead of blank lists. • Your plan name reads right everywhere, plus a stack of smaller reliability fixes. How to get it The easiest way is to open CalSync and let it update itself. For a fresh install, these links always grab the newest version: Mac (Apple Silicon, M1/M2/M3): https://www.einkpads.io/api/calsync/darwin/arm64/releases/latest Mac (Intel): https://www.einkpads.io/api/calsync/darwin/x64/releases/latest Windows: https://www.einkpads.io/api/calsync/win32/releases/latest

I noticed that the Move doesn't have a place for Tasks. Is that in the plans?

@Jason Smith go to know. I have a todoist account but never had a reason to use it. I will migrate to it.
I'm disappointed
I just purchased a CalSync Vault license, and the only thing it unlocks are the calendars. I see that even removing the "last updated stamp" requires a monthly subscription. I expected full access, not to have almost everything restricted. Furthermore, the calendars aren't being added to my address book, which is the main functionality I was looking for. I've added two: one from Google and one from Outlook with ICS. Nothing is showing up. I'd like to know how I can request a refund.

@Jose J it’s a typical. iCal isn’t a perfect technology.
help getting out of developer mode
Can someone help me please? i just purchase the calendar sync for my remarkable paper pro- i was following the instructions and ended up in developer mode. I dont know how to get out and recover all my files. Remarkable said it voided my warranty by doing this

It doesn’t but they do have directions on their site: https://support.remarkable.com/s/article/Performing-a-factory-reset
Events in color
The CalSync ads show different events in different colors. All of my events show up gray on my RP Pro. I have the color option checked in the Create Planner option, and I have events in different color categories in my Outlook Calendar. What am I missing?

When you look at CalSync, are there colored dots next to # calendars? When you look at your planner on your computer, are they in color?
🚀 CalSync 1.5.0 is Here
This is a major CalSync update with easier calendar connections, flexible one-week planners, better support for past years, and important reliability improvements across Mac and Windows. What’s New 📅 Connect Google, Outlook, and iCloud Directly Pro and Business members can now sign in to Google, Microsoft Outlook, or Apple directly inside CalSync and choose the calendars they want to include. There is no longer a need to search for ICS links. CalSync also includes a generic CalDAV connection for Fastmail, Nextcloud, and other compatible calendar services on every paid plan. Traditional ICS links and calendar file uploads are still fully supported. Connected accounts now appear in a clean dropdown, making it easier to add accounts, switch between them, and manage long calendar lists. Create a Planner for Just One Week You can now generate a complete planner covering a single week. Choose any date, and CalSync automatically builds the planner from your selected week-start day. It includes: ✅ All seven daily pages ✅ The complete weekly view ✅ Your selected summary pages ✅ Clear navigation limited to the selected week ✅ The exact date range displayed on the cover and planner card You can also quickly choose This Week or Next Week. One-week planners work with every planner style and supported tablet, including weeks that cross into a new month or year. Create Planners for Previous Years The year picker now reaches two years into the past, making CalSync more useful for journaling, record keeping, and creating personal archives. Past-year planners no longer display today’s date, today’s events, or Today buttons. We also added a new planner setting that lets you disable the Jump to Today button on the cover and daily pages of any planner. Run CalSync and Binder Together You can now keep CalSync and Binder open at the same time. When another eInkPads application is already using a connection, CalSync quietly switches to an available connection instead of opening a blank window or displaying an error.

Super job. Nothing broke :) I do see an oddity in the new week planner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MGA7KuTIiQ

@Mark Sloan I just played with it, and was able to create a new one for the upcoming week. If you scroll down to Week, there is a button for "This week" and for "Next Week". The interesting part, is that the previous week's data is gone when you generate the next week.
