This little book sits in my kitchen .. it’s one of those “pick up and read a page” kind of books. This morning I was sitting drinking my coffee and this was the page I read.
This is truly what we need to do more. Observation is so powerful whether it is mental, emotional or physical pain or discomfort, once we are able to sit with it, without needing to rush away or being fearful of it, however difficult this may feel, it changes. It may feel that it doesn’t, but it will. This is the beginnings of the nervous system re learning safety. Learning that you are prepared to show up for it and give it the time it needs to heal.
