There are so many small things we can do to help us live more in alignment with our nervous systems. Things which don’t need to take a lot of time and in part are reminders, things we already often know, but we don’t give ourselves time or discount them as they don’t seem important enough. But. I promise you this, nervous system alignment is cumulative, small changes add up, and before long a lot of the niggles, niggle less, our energy frees up and we can start to do more of what we love. We spend so much time not valuing ourselves and small changes, and this in itself prevents the body the feeling safe and seen, so doing something small and showing up and investing in you in itself is a huge win. Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is nothing! Not fixing, not forcing, not researching, or trying harder! Just be. Just as you are, releasing the pressure to be different than you are! x

That’s amazing to hear Kirsty. I hope there are lots of changing rooms in the shower block as you spread the word! šŸ˜‚ Joking apart more and more people are curious about how to feel different, and normalising time away from stimulation, slowing down, focusing on just one thing, feeling the body again are so powerful, and it really is the butterfly affect .. thanks for sharing 🄰

This little book sits in my kitchen .. it’s one of those ā€œpick up and read a pageā€ kind of books. This morning I was sitting drinking my coffee and this was the page I read. This is truly what we need to do more. Observation is so powerful whether it is mental, emotional or physical pain or discomfort, once we are able to sit with it, without needing to rush away or being fearful of it, however difficult this may feel, it changes. It may feel that it doesn’t, but it will. This is the beginnings of the nervous system re learning safety. Learning that you are prepared to show up for it and give it the time it needs to heal. Have a go with this gently xx
