Movement really is medicine Movement is one of the best ways we can stay fit and healthy, it aids in the health of so many of our systems, but the society we live in has created an all or nothing culture around movement. So many of us sit at our computes for hours a day and then go to the gym and do an explosive hour on our way home, before sitting down for the evening in front of the TV. The body is not designed to work this way. Looking back at how our ancestors lived we would walk for hours a day hunting and then amongst this need a v short maximum effort explosive strength work to carry our kill or to build shelter etc, followed by rest. How can we emulate this in our everyday lives? How can we live as nature intended, back in tune to our ancient nervous systems??
