Taking my from my back yard for my first flower post - greater celadine (chelidonium majus) from the poppy family (papaveraceae). It's not native to my area but it has been naturalized in North America. The poppy family is known for producing a sap: white, yellow or red From the wiki, its yellow sap seems to have a history as a topical treatment for warts and similar skin conditions, but looks like current research is lacking.

Hey Y'all 🤗 The Skullcap near me is blooming already; it's normally a midsummer bloom. I believe this is- 🌼Scutellaria incana, commonly known as Downy or Hoary Skullcap, it's a native North American perennial in the Mint Family.

From a distance I thought they were roses in a bush, but the closer I got, the less they looked like roses. Rhododendron degronianum is native to the northern parts of Hosnshu, the largest island of Japan. What do y'all think of grass flowers. These messy looking ones belong to a grass that I think is Anthoxanthum odoratum...but I'm not totally sure on that.
