I foraged some Yaupon leaves today. It grows abundantly in the woods all ‘round and about here. Sorry photo is dark - it’s night time.

I learned about the Virginia Pine, also called Possum Pine by locals. I didn’t know they existed. I filtered water from a stream, jet boiled it, and steeped some foraged forest finds along with a sprig of the below featured tree. Recipe: A few pine needles, blackberry leaves, violet leaves, and a bit of cleavers that found a sunny spot to inhabit.
