If your AI-written posts all feel the same, you’re missing the 3 “human injection points” the pros rely on.👇
Human injection #1: Stories (AI can’t replicate your lived experience).
Human injection #2: Contrarian takes (AI is trained to play it safe).
Human injection #3: Specifics (AI generalizes, you specialize).
Write your first draft with AI, then punch in these injections.
That’s how you create content nobody else can copy … even with AI.
Prompt 1 — First Draft Generator
Act as an expert content writer who specializes in creating engaging social media posts for {{platform}} in the {{industry}} space.
Background: I run {{business_name}}, a {{business_description}}. My target audience is {{target_audience}}. My brand voice is {{brand_voice}}. I want to create a post about {{topic}} that supports my goal of {{content_goal}}.
Write a strong first draft of a {{platform}} post about {{topic}}. The post should be {{word_count}} words, lead with a hook that grabs attention, deliver clear value to {{target_audience}}, and end with a call to action aligned with {{content_goal}}. Structure it for readability on {{platform}} — short paragraphs, line breaks where appropriate.
Ask me any questions you have.
→ What to do after Prompt 1:
Copy the AI-generated draft. Read it once. You’ll notice it’s competent but probably sounds like it could have been written by anyone. That’s normal — and that’s exactly what the next three prompts fix. Paste the draft into Prompt 2.
Prompt 2 — Human Injection #1: Stories
Act as an expert storytelling coach who specializes in helping entrepreneurs weave personal narratives into business content that builds trust and emotional connection.
Background: I’m working on a {{platform}} post about {{topic}} for my business {{business_name}}. I have an AI-generated first draft (below), but it lacks the personal, lived-experience element that makes content feel human. My audience is {{target_audience}} and they respond well to real stories because {{audience_story_preference}}.
Here is my current draft:
{{ai_draft}}
Review this draft and identify the 2–3 best places to inject a personal story, anecdote, or real experience. For each spot, explain why a story works there and give me a specific prompt question I can answer to generate my story (e.g., “Tell me about a time you {{relevant_experience}}”). Then show me a revised version of the draft with placeholder brackets like [YOUR STORY: describe a time when…] inserted at each injection point so I know exactly where to add my lived experience.
Ask me any questions you have.
→ What to do after Prompt 2:
Answer the story prompt questions the AI gives you. Write your actual stories in your own words — messy is fine. Then replace the placeholder brackets in the revised draft with your real stories. Paste the updated draft into Prompt 3.
Prompt 3 — Human Injection #2: Contrarian Takes
Act as an expert content strategist who specializes in thought leadership positioning and contrarian framing — helping entrepreneurs stand out by saying what others won’t.
Background: I’m developing a {{platform}} post about {{topic}} for {{business_name}}. My audience is {{target_audience}}. I’ve already injected personal stories into my draft (below), but the opinions and perspectives in the post still feel safe and predictable. In my industry, the conventional wisdom says {{conventional_wisdom}}, but based on my experience I believe {{my_actual_belief}}.
Here is my current draft with stories included:
{{draft_with_stories}}
Analyze this draft and identify where the post plays it too safe or agrees with what everyone else is saying. For each spot, suggest a contrarian reframe — a way to challenge the status quo, disagree with popular advice, or present an unexpected angle that only someone with real experience would dare say. Give me 2–3 contrarian options ranked from mildly provocative to boldly contrarian, so I can choose the level of edge that fits my brand. Then show me a revised draft with the strongest contrarian take woven in naturally.
Ask me any questions you have.
→ What to do after Prompt 3:
Review the contrarian options. Pick the one that feels true to you — not just edgy for the sake of it. If none of them hit right, tell the AI what you actually believe and ask it to reframe around that. Paste the updated draft into Prompt 4.
Prompt 4 — Human Injection #3: Specifics
Act as an expert content editor who specializes in replacing vague, generic statements with precise, concrete details that build credibility and make content impossible to replicate.
Background: I’m finalizing a {{platform}} post about {{topic}} for {{business_name}}. The draft now has personal stories and a contrarian angle, but it still contains generic language that any AI could have written. My audience ({{target_audience}}) trusts specifics — real numbers, named tools, exact timelines, and precise outcomes. Here are some specific details from my experience that are relevant to this post: {{my_specifics}}.
Here is my current draft:
{{draft_with_contrarian}}
Go through this draft line by line and flag every vague or generic phrase (e.g., “many people,” “significant results,” “a while ago,” “various tools”). For each one, either replace it with a specific detail from the context I provided or insert a bracket like [INSERT: specific number/tool/date/result] prompting me to fill in the real detail. Then show me the final polished draft with all specifics either filled in or clearly marked for me to complete.
Ask me any questions you have.
→ What to do after Prompt 4:
Fill in any remaining brackets with your real data. Read the final post out loud. If any sentence sounds like it could appear on anyone else’s page, punch in one more specific. Then post it.
Usage Notes
1 - This chain is designed to be sequential. Each prompt builds on the output of the one before it. Don’t skip steps — the magic is in the layering.
2 - You are the secret ingredient. The AI handles structure and polish. You provide the stories, opinions, and specifics that make the content uncopyable. If you skip your part, you’ll end up right back where you started.
3 - Speed tip: Before you start, jot down one quick story, one opinion you hold that most people disagree with, and 3–5 specific numbers or details related to your topic. Having these ready makes the whole chain flow in under 15 minutes.
4 - Works for any platform. Change the `{{platform}}` variable and the AI adapts formatting, tone, and length accordingly.
5 - Reusable for every post. Save this chain as a template. The variables make it work for any topic, any industry, any time.
