with the holidays around the corner I wanted to share my favorite tea recipe that I think has helped me stay healthy this season!
I drink it every night about 90 minutes after dinner.
Ingredients (1 large mug / 1 serving)
- 1–2 thin slices fresh ginger root
- 1/4 - 1 whole star anise (has a strong taste so based on preference)
- 2–3 whole cloves
- ½ teaspoon fennel seeds
- 2 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
- 1 chamomile tea bag or 1 tablespoon dried chamomile flowers
- 10–12 oz water
- Sweetener of choice (I use organic raw honey)
You can increase the amount of the ingredients in a larger pot to make multiple servings, it's stores well in the fridge.
