A quick note on mycotoxins (mold toxins)
There’s a category of stress on the body that almost no one talks about, but it quietly affects a lot of people: chronic mycotoxin exposure. Mycotoxins are toxins made by certain molds. They tend to show up in foods like grains, rice, nuts, and stored foods when conditions are right (humidity, heat, storage time). Globally, it’s estimated that about 25% of the food supply has some level of mold contamination. This isn’t about getting “poisoned.” It’s about small, repeated exposures over time. Research shows that chronic exposure can: - Increase oxidative stress - Interfere with normal cell repair - Suppress the immune system - Create DNA damage over time Not everyone reacts the same way. If someone already has gut issues, inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, or immune stress, these exposures hit harder. That’s why two people can eat the same foods and feel very different. This is also why we talk so much about food quality, fiber, cruciferous vegetables, and supporting detox pathways. You’re not trying to eliminate every toxin — you’re trying to make your body more resilient. 🟢 Simple mindset shift: Be aware, reduce exposure, detox mycotoxins regularly because you cannot avoid everything. More on how to do that coming soon
What is one health related goal you set for yourself and followed through?
Hi everyone! As the year comes to an end, it’s a great time to reflect on what a crazy and fast year 2025 has been. I’d love to hear about a health-related goal you accomplished this year. I’ll start 🤍 One goal I set for myself was becoming more consistent with eating all three meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This year was challenging and chaotic, but I’m proud to say I stayed committed, nourished my body, and discovered some recipes along the way that I truly loved! Now it’s your turn 👇 Comment below with one health goal you accomplished and one favorite recipe you enjoyed this year. Best, Lulu 🤍

Winter Solstice — a pause before renewal 🌑
The Winter Solstice is coming up—the shortest day and longest night of the year. **For ancient civilizations and Indigenous cultures, all solstices were meaningful—**marked, observed, or celebrated as natural turning points in the year 🌱 In modern culture, we tend to complain about the darkness rather than pause and acknowledge what this time of year represents. Over the years, I’ve found a real appreciation for this inevitable time of year by doing a simple ritual to honor it. We learned it decades ago from a Native American teacher, and it stuck—not because it’s mystical, but because it makes sense. It gives the nervous system a clear signal that one chapter is closing and another can begin. On the solstice, we pause and do two things: • We write down four things we’re done carrying into the new year—habits, patterns, thought loops, stressors, old stories 📝 • We write down four seeds we want to grow in the coming year 🌱—and get specific, then place them somewhere we’ll see them daily This year, we’ll be honoring the solstice together inside Skool. Details and timing will be shared here. If you feel like sharing— What’s one thing you’re ready to let go of this season, or one seed you want to grow in the year ahead? Looking forward to doing this together.
